Bad Luck!!! So sorry you have to go through all this. I hope things start turning around soon so you, Ed and the girls can settle in to your new location and get on with your lives.
"It would never happen in Japan." for sure! What a way to be welcomed by the new assignment. Fortunately, you are very resilient, creative, resourceful, and your kids, husband, and dog are super. This will be a generational family story in a year or two!
Oh my goodness Katelyn! Sheesh you have had A LOT thrown at you that one could just never have imagined. I am so thankful you have family nearby to help out. I am hoping all this gets settled quickly and smoothly going forward. Hang in there!
Hello Ms. Katlyn, sending you all a big bear hug!!! Transitions from Ocunus is the most challenging part of PCSing. We did the same thing until now its not even a year yet. We still navigating everything. I feel like my equilibrium is mess up. But just hang in there. Things will get better. Also kudos to your children!!!
Katelyn - thank you for the news. It has frustrating and difficult lately. Thank goodness for family and friends - wishing you well as you get settled in the old US of A. Fred

Thanks Mary! The kids are such troopers! I'm glad they're old enough to at least get their own breakfast... We all sure to miss Japan though!!
Hang in there
